Welcome to Llanffynnon and welcome to Pembrokeshire, the second best coastal destination in the entire world (it’s true National Geographic says so). Pembrokeshire is such an amazing place to escape to. Whether you’re a family coming to spend summer on sunny beaches, a couple wrapping up next to a roaring fire in the deep winter, a working retreat or simply to reconnect with the sea, we know you’ll love it and our charming cottage would love to house you for your stay.
Llanffynnon is a traditional Welsh stone cottage, with beamed ceilings, situated in a quiet, friendly, rural village. On the ground floor the kitchen is well equipped and has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave; it opens up through an archway into the dining room. The cosy lounge has a log burner, 2 sofas, armchair and TV/DVD. There is wireless, fibre-optic broadband. The shower room is also on the ground floor. A washing machine and tumble dryer are in the old dairy attached to the cottage. The 2 bedrooms are upstairs, one double and a large twin bedded room. There is a small garden at the front. The back garden, bordered by a stone wall is mainly lawn with a patio which is a fabulous suntrap for most of the year. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

You can stroll down the lanes and footpaths to the nearest beaches of Aberbach and Abermawr and to the working woollen mill at Tregwynt, all within 30 minutes. In spring the lanes are a blaze of colour and we’ve seen bats at dusk and a badger or two.
There are plenty of places to go to and things to see across Pembrokeshire, all within about an hours drive. Here are some of our personal favourite places close to the cottage.
We love it when people sign our guest book. Here are some kind words from a few of our previous guests who’ve stayed in Llanffynnon.
We have been holidaying in this lovely part of the world since I was four. It was a place that my Mum discovered and fell in love with when she was in her teens. Through the years my brothers and I have enjoyed hot summer days in the sea and warm winter nights cuddled up next to the fire watching films. This part of the world is so gorgeous and wonderful and I continue to return to Llanffynnon with family and friends, constantly making new discoveries, adventures and wonderful memories. Sam: the eldest.
